We have a very long cruising day as we travel from Ely to Earith and beyond on the River Great Ouse. In today's vlog we turn off the River Great Ouse and travel up the River Little Ouse to Brandon which is as far as. 57 foot narrowboat can go. This river is stunning and it is also rather remote. In today's video we are on the Little Ouse and Brandon Creek. We always knew Narrowboat Perseverance was too long to take us to the very end of the Little Ouse so we were resigned to exploring by foot. Until our mooring neighbours offered Michael a ride on their 40 foot boat to the end. After a few weeks in and around Ely and Prickwillow we finally continue our journey south along the River Great Ouse. When we reach Pope's Corner we turn onto the River and Cam and travel as far as Waterbeach.
